The Final of the Illawarra Women’s State Triples included the Figtree Sports team of J Julius, S Moore & K Moran, up against Woonona’s S Connor, V Bott & M Fellows.

Woonona got out to a flying start winning 8 of the first 9 ends to lead 14-3. Figtree Sports clawed back to a score of 18-16 on 20 ends. Woonona held their nerve, picking up 7 shots to 2 in the last 5 ends to take out the title.
